The wires from the Main Unit to the mirrors are very thin. So you have to save them with an additional cable protection.
To mount the radar unit you have to make an additional holder.
The power supply only has plus and minus, the circuit for the CAN bus or the ignition has to be built by yourself with a relay. Or you have to pay expensiv parts like EzCan ore Thunderbox.
And it would be nice to have an additional product with an additional LED that can be plugged between the BMW mirrors and the INNOVV cable and then mounted near the speedometer.

The brightness adjustment is determined by the rearview mirror you purchased. If the rearview mirror you purchased has a photoreceptor, the brightness can be adjusted automatically. If the rearview mirror you purchased does not have a photoreceptor, the brightness cannot be adjusted.ThirdEYE For R1300GS Version is not including mirrors.please purchase mirror separately if necessary.

Also why does this radar system not come with a mounting bracket?

We are pleased to inform you that the INNOVV Third Eye for the BMW R1300GS is designed to be compatible with all BMW motorcycles, and it also supports other brands that match the BMW R1300GS rearview mirror setup.
No lights come on after turning on the ignition, even though the wires are well connected.
1. Please check if the fuse is burned.
2. Please check that the wires are connected correctly and firmly. Make sure the input voltage is between 9V and 16V with 0.5A. The red wires must connect to the ACC, while the black wire connects to the negative pole of the battery.
Only power indicator is on, the alert light is off.
Please check that the connection between the control box and the radar detector is stable.
