INNOVV ThirdEYE C1 Blind Spot Monitoring 120-degree wide overhead radar detection range schematic covering rear side lane

Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM)

Focuses on monitoring vehicles in the side and rear blind spots, making it ideal for urban commuting and daily lane changes; basic blind‑spot alerts sufficiently cover typical everyday driving scenarios.

Lane Change Assist (LCA)

Provides longer‑range, faster relative‑speed sensing with tiered warnings, optimized for highway/freeway driving with frequent lane changes.

Rear Collision Warning (RCW)

Delivers earlier alerts when a vehicle approaches rapidly from behind, enabling earlier evasive action and helping reduce rear‑end collisions; suitable for congested traffic or close following conditions.

What makes the ThirdEYE C1 special?

INNOVV ThirdEYE C1 integrates BSM (Blind Spot Monitoring), LCA (Lane Change Assist), and RCW (Rear Collision Warning) into a single rear-side safety assist system. A single rearward millimeter‑wave corner radar provides continuous protection—from blind‑spot monitoring and lane‑change risk assessment to rear‑end collision warning—covering high‑frequency scenarios such as urban commuting, daily lane changes, highway/freeway merging, and stop‑and‑go traffic.

Key Features

  • All‑weather reliability: The mmWave radar delivers stable detection in rain, fog, nighttime, and backlight conditions, consistently outputting target distance, relative velocity, and azimuth for dependable performance day and night.
  • Unified interaction: A driver‑oriented interface uses in‑cabin indicators as the primary cue, augmented with audible beeps, to deliver clear, non‑intrusive alerts and help prevent information overload.
  • Easy integration: Designed for seamless cooperation and expansion with BSD, LCW, RCTA, and other ADAS functions within a unified system architecture.

Specifically designed for outdoor waterproofing

Engineered to IP67 for dustproof and waterproof protection, built to withstand rain, wind, and harsh outdoor conditions.

Higher‑accuracy 77 GHz automotive radar vs. 24 GHz

Transitioning from 24 GHz to 77 GHz delivers a major leap in radar performance for vehicles: up to 4 GHz bandwidth enables ~4 cm range resolution (vs. ~75 cm at 24 GHz, ~20× better) and ~3× better velocity resolution/accuracy. The shorter wavelength of 77 GHz also reduces antenna dimensions to about 1/3 of 24 GHz, easing integration and supporting aggressive size reduction for ThirdEYE C1.

Thirdeye C1 Works on a 2025 Toyota Tundra

I purchased the Thirdeye C1 for my 2025 Tundra. I have a base model truck. I have it installed and it works as it's supposed to. There is plenty of cable to reach from the bumper to the dash where the unit is mounted. My truck has the 6.5' box. The Thirdeye C1 definitely makes my driving much safer. Because of canopy over the box, it was difficult to see a motorcycle or a small car near me. I will report back during the Canadian winter on its operation.

is it for minivan?

1. Does this include all the parts needed for BSM?
2. Is this compatible with a 2008 Toyota Sienna?
3. Are the cables long enough to install in a minivan?

INNOVV

Hello, C1 includes all the components required for the BSM. It will be compatible provided that the battery in your 2008 Toyota Sienna meets the following requirements: the power supply must be DC, with a voltage maintained between 9V and 16V, and the operating current must be greater than 1A. For information regarding cable length, please contact our customer service team at info@innovv.com.

Can the detector also be installed in the interiour of the car i.e. behind the rear window?

INNOVV

Hello,The radar sensor should bemounted at the rear of the vehicle, such as above the license plate, ensuring aproper central position. The radar sensor must be installed at the center of thevehicle so that the detection range on both sides is equal. The radar sensor mustbe aligned parallel to the vehicle body to avoid bias in detection direction, whichcould result in one side not being monitored. so It should be installed on the outside of the vehicle.
