How to Identify Your Mount in 10 Seconds

Look for buttons:​

Buttons = older 4-button mount → Not supported.

Look for a key slot:​

A key lock on the side and a clean bezel without buttons usually indicates a Nav Prep 5/6​ → Supported.

Listen/feel for an electric latch:​

If it opens/closes electronically and has no key, it’s the new keyless electric mount (BMW part #65 90 5 B6C 8C0)​ → Supported.

Check for the center pogo-pin pad:​

Both supported mounts feature a BMW pogo-pin contact block​ in the center, which provides power and data transfer.

What makes the BMW Version different?

Compared with the universal version, the BMW Version offers deeper integration for selected BMW motorcycles:

Operate key functions directly with the OEM BMW Wonder Wheel for a more factory-style user experience

View supported bike data directly on the screen, including speed, gear, fuel level, and TPMS information

✅ BMW TFT Integration
Works with the BMW TFT system for a more integrated riding setup

⚠️ More specific compatibility requirements
The BMW Version requires an original, unmodified BMW navigation mount and is only compatible with selected BMW models

📌 If you only need Apple CarPlay or Android Auto and do not need Wonder Wheel control, bike data display, or TFT integration, the Universal Version is the better choice.
It offers broader compatibility and can be used on any motorcycle with a suitable mounting solution and power supply. For BMW riders, if the device can be mounted properly and powered correctly, the Universal Version can be used.cements, or welcome customers to your store.

3-Pin Navigation Connector

If your BMW motorcycle has a 3-pin navigation connector but does not have the OEM navigation mount installed:

✅ You can purchase a BMW OEM navigation mount separately
✅ N3 also offers a dedicated BMW navigation mount
✅ Once the mount is installed, the BMW version can be properly mounted and used on your motorcycle
✅ The mount provides both the mounting point and power connection

💡 Tip: Please contact your BMW dealer to purchase the OEM navigation mount compatible with your motorcycle. If you are using N3, you can also choose the dedicated N3 BMW navigation mount directly.

TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System)

If your BMW motorcycle is equipped with factory TPMS:

✅ The device can read and display your tire pressure data
✅ Data is sourced directly from your motorcycle’s existing TPMS system
✅ No additional accessories are required

If your BMW motorcycle does not have factory TPMS:

You can still add tire pressure monitoring by purchasing compatible TPMS accessories from our website (N3 only):

No TFT Display? It may still work.

Even if your BMW motorcycle does not have a TFT display, the N2 BMW / N3 may still support Wonder Wheel control and selected bike data functions if:

✅ An OEM BMW navigation mount is installed
✅ The mount is unmodified
✅ The bike has factory Wonder Wheel control
✅ Data is available through the OEM mount contacts
