Is the N2 for BMW compatible with my BMW?
The N2 for BMW is specifically designed for motorcycles equipped with BMW Nav Prep 5/6 and the BMW Connected Ride electric keyless mount. It connects directly to the Nav Prep interface and draws power entirely from the motorcycle’s BMW electrical system. As long as your bike is equipped with BMW Nav Prep 5/6, the N2 for BMW will start up and function properly.
However, please note that due to variations in system software or factory configurations across certain BMW models, some advanced features may be limited. These limitations do not affect basic power supply or display operation, but they may impact specific functionalities — such as control via the Wonder wheel or access to native data.
Certain BMW motorcycle models are not equipped with a TFT screen; however, compatibility is possible if the motorcycle features a corresponding data display capable of transmitting signals to our unit via the contact points on the OEM navigation bracket.

Supported Mounts Base
1. BMW Navigation Mount 5/6 (with Key Lock, No Front Buttons)
Also known as the BMW Navigator mount for Nav V/VI. This is the OEM “Navigation Prep” mount that powers and communicates with accessories via pogo-pin connectors.
2. New Keyless Electric BMW ConnectedRide Mount (Motorized Locking Mechanism)
The latest “electric/keyless” mount, designed for 2024–2026+ models (BMW part number: 65 90 5 B6C 8C0). It uses an electronic locking/unlocking mechanism instead of a mechanical key.

Not Supported
Any BMW mount with physical buttons
Example: Older 4-button navigation mounts.

How to Identify Your Mount in 10 Seconds
Look for buttons:
Buttons = older 4-button mount → Not supported.
Look for a key slot:
A key lock on the side and a clean bezel without buttons usually indicates a Nav Prep 5/6 → Supported.
Listen/feel for an electric latch:
If it opens/closes electronically and has no key, it’s the new keyless electric mount (BMW part #65 90 5 B6C 8C0) → Supported.
Check for the center pogo-pin pad:
Both supported mounts feature a BMW pogo-pin contact block in the center, which provides power and data transfer.
