Host Device Upgrade Instructions:

  1. Take out the TF card and copy the upgrade image:Remove the TF card from the N2 host device, and copy the image fileltmotor-emmc-20250912-1440x720-n5-rtl8733bs-release-638530c40cb850e1c077d2f049fd1ebc.imgto the root directoryof the TF card.
  2. Insert the TF card and start the upgrade (while the device is powered on):With the host powered on, insert the TF card. A prompt labeled “Update Program”will appear on the display. Select “Update”, and the host will automatically enter the upgrade interface.Please wait patiently for the upgrade progress bar to complete. Do not power off the device during this process.Once the upgrade is finished, the host will shut down and restart automatically.
  3. Complete the upgrade and reset the hardware:After the host has successfully booted up, fully disconnect the power supplyto allow the hardware to reset. Then reconnect the power. The upgrade process is now complete.

Important Notes:

  • The new TF card must be first inserted into the N2 host for formatting. Only after the host has successfully recognized the card should you remove it for the upgrade. You can ignore any other content on the card.
  • Never power off the device during the upgrade process, as doing so may result in device damage or a failed upgrade.

FAQ

Why can’t my N2 connect to Wi-Fi or access the internet?

If your N2 is unable to connect to Wi-Fi or there’s no internet access, please check your display settings​ and make sure the ​video download option is enabled.

This setting is often required to allow the device to access network resources or download content — without it, the N2 may not establish a proper internet connection.

Which phone systems does it support?

It supports Apple CarPlay (iOS 13 and above) and Android Auto (Android 11 and above).

Does this device have a built-in microphone? Where is it located?

Yes, the N2 has a built-in microphone, which is located ​at the bottom of the display (usually within the bottom bezel of the screen)​.

The microphone works together with the camera, and you can ​turn it on or off​ in the ​camera/DVR settings​ or ​dashcam settings​ on the device.

No video after connecting the camera. What should I do?

Please check:

  • The camera is connected correctly to the N2
  • The camera cable is not damaged (e.g. bent or broken)
