I purchased this not to document my travels or upload videos online, but to safeguard against the many distracted or unskilled drivers on the road. The installation is straightforward for those with a grasp of basic motorcycle upkeep. It took a day to get everything operational, including extra wiring protection and the disassembly and reassembly of the fairings. I suggest applying loctite on the camera mounts since the provided hardware lacks lock washers. You might need an additional washer or bolt for non-standard mounting, differing from the manual's examples. The app has been flawless. Transferring files from the camera via WiFi is slow, so removing the memory card for direct transfer is advisable. Despite concerns about image blur from vibrations, the quality remained unaffected. Before final installation, test the camera system with your motorcycle's battery to ensure functionality. Overall, I'm pleased with the setup. Remember to clean the lenses of any debris!
This is mounted on my BMW GS1250 motorcycle. The cameras are small and unobtrusive. The rear is mounted above the license plate, the front is mounted on the front fairing, I created a mount just below the windscreen. The recorder is under the back seat. The size is small so lots of places away from any heat. The video quality is really good in all lighting conditions. Excellent product and good response for questions.
